Division with Models and Our Galaxy!

We have been using place value blocks to solve division problems.  We are all getting so good at seeing the problems that we no longer need the actual blocks!  In Science we have finished our Planets and Galaxy study.  We had a chance to vaporize an asteroid (using Alka Seltzer and water) and we made 2 and 3 dimensional models of our Solar System.  We learned the difference between inner and outer planets, what exists in a galaxy and even learned about the 169 moons in our solar system.

Working hard on division!

We have so many strategies to share.

The boys loved to vaporize an asteroid!

Jupiter was a hard planet to make...it took about 14 bars of clay!

We all get to learn from each other in math!  It is awesome!

Building planets is hard work.

There goes the asteroids as they hit our atmosphere.

Waiting and ready to vaporize!

Saturn was tough too! Those outer planets are so big!

Can you write the division problem that matches this answer?
