| How does the surface area of a substance affect the dissolving process? |

| We used a sugar cube and granulated sugar to find out! |
We found out that the surface area does affect the dissolving process. After timing each type of sugar dissolving, we were able to watch the cube break down before dissolving. We have also learned about how stirring and changing the temperature of our liquid can affect the dissolving process.
