From Miss Clay County to baby chicks "peeping" all day, from basketball to people in history...
The apes have been so busy this week and my camera has been resting at home. We completed our people from history presentations and they were so creative and fun. We even went to Mrs.Brown's 1st grade class to present some to her class. After presentations we had a great opportunity to meet one of Mrs. Ross's former students who is now Miss Clay County. She talked about the Children's Miracle Network and let our apes make cards for children in the hospital who need some cheer and hope in their lives. The apes in rooms 71 and 73 were the perfect ones for the job, they all created such great cards.
We have traveled to Mrs. Wood's room a couple times over the past two weeks to peek in our the our eggs in her incubator. She led us in the life of a chick and the stages of development before hatching. On Monday we came in and found actual chick. She even let us bring some back to our room. The room was silent except for the nonstop "peeping" from our super cute visitors. They are headed to the farm for a great happy life this weekend.
Please don't forget our End of the Year Luncheon is Tuesday at 11:30, 5th grade awards will be on Wednesday and we will leave on Thursday at 6:45 am for our field trip! I can't wait for one more week of fun with our 5th graders!
