Science Materials Needed!

Please send in any used/empty paper towel and toilet paper rolls into school between Monday and Wednesday.  We will be using them to build a "Roller Coaster" to explore forces and the more we have the better our track will be for our marble!  Thanks in advance!

Happy Birthday Kobe!

Happy Birthday to Kobe!  His mom sent in some cupcakes and surprised him for his big day!

Chemical Change or Physical Change

We spent a couple days exploring different changes in our classroom.  Then we had to determine if the changes were physical or chemical!  We all had a blast, especially in our "scientist glasses"!

Yay Aaron and Jaydyn! Star Students!

Both Aaron and Jaydyn had a great week here at San Pablo!  They worked hard, kept a positive attitude and turned in all work!  Keep it up!

What an Awesome Ape Day!

Our first Ape luncheon was a huge success!  Thank you to all of the parents who came to celebrate and support your child and his/her success so far this year!  Your support is so important! We had such a great time today and learned that our reading goal for the October luncheon is 9 books!  We hope to see all of our Apes celebrating in October!

Math Centers are so much fun!

We have a 30 minute center time during math each day!  Students are split into groups for computer time, a small group with Mrs. Goodman and partner math games.  Each game, program or group is working on different skills that need to be practiced.  Your child can access iReady from home and work more on math and reading skills.

How do we separate a mixture?

Ask your child how thinking about the properties of matter will help you separate a mixture!  We had some practice today!
