Busy Day!

We spent a fun day together with lots of math and art!  We had a chance to practice moving and plotting on a coordinate grid while playing Battleship with our classmates and then begin creating our clay pinch pots in art class! Mr. Gibbons class even had a chance to start on a science activity with Ms. Boot today!

Happy Birthday Cheyre!

We had a great day today including the opportunity to celebrate with Cheyre!  She brought us all pizza and donuts for lunch!  Thank you so much Cheyre!

And her brother Willie even came to visit and eat with us!

Forces and Motion Fun!

Learning about forces is so much more fun when we get to build ramps!  We were able to determine how changing the height of our ramp and the mass of the ball will affect the distance our cup traveled.

STATIC

~We are learning about static electricity! We are having fun conducting experiments discovering positive and negative charges!

How does temperature affect a chemical reaction?

We explored this question with a test.  How did Alka-Seltzer react in hot water, cold water and room temperature water?  We all learned that the reaction is much faster in the hot water!
