Weather Tools and the Water Cycle!

We had a guest, Gretta from Tree Hill, come and discuss the water cycle and ways to conserve water on Monday!  We even made a cloud...well a model of a cloud!

In the classroom we made posters to teach each other about important weather tools!  We are having fun and lately had no interesting weather to report...just sunny, happy weather!

Ape Shirts!!

Don't forget to bring in your $5 for your Ape Shirt!!  These are great for class events and field trips!  First come, first serve on sizes so bring in your money as soon as possible, they are going fast!

Star Student!!!

Congrats to our Star students last week!  They both worked so hard to earn the weekly title!

Work Hard and Play Hard!

We worked on some story problems using division and learned about weather tools in class today!

Then we danced the afternoon away at our PTA dance!  The PTA thanks all of you who showed your support this week by joining and volunteering!  They do so much for our kids and they are awesome!  Thanks, the kids had a blast!

STAR Students!

Our star students this week both worked hard to earn the title.  Johnathan and Dawn got along with everyone, completed their homework and have met the current reading goal.  Keep it up!

Lunchtime!

The Apes usually take a break during lunch but not today!  Kim wanted to get ahead on her book goal and would not put the book down, not even during lunch.  Way to go Kim!  Our Apes love reading and earning AR points!

Our 1st Luncheon! A Huge Success!

 Thank you for coming to our first luncheon to celebrate your child's hard work.  We had a great turn out and hope to see you all back again next month.  Remember, our October luncheon will be on Thursday, October, 25th due to the planning day on Friday!
