What an Awesome Ape Day!

Our first Ape luncheon was a huge success!  Thank you to all of the parents who came to celebrate and support your child and his/her success so far this year!  Your support is so important! We had such a great time today and learned that our reading goal for the October luncheon is 9 books!  We hope to see all of our Apes celebrating in October!

STAR Students!!

Congrats to Kobe and Jacob!  They both have reached their book goal, turned in all homework this week and always make great decisions!  Keep it up!

Math Centers are so much fun!

We have a 30 minute center time during math each day!  Students are split into groups for computer time, a small group with Mrs. Goodman and partner math games.  Each game, program or group is working on different skills that need to be practiced.  Your child can access iReady from home and work more on math and reading skills.

How do we separate a mixture?

Ask your child how thinking about the properties of matter will help you separate a mixture!  We had some practice today!

Tyler Whitesides came to visit!

We all had a chance to meet Tyler Whitesides, the author of The Janitors Series!  He will be at The BookMark tonight at 7:00.  The BookMark is located at 220 1st Street, Neptune Beach, FL.  Head out to meet Tyler and purchase a signed copy of his latest book!
