Reviewing the Scientific Method!

We have been reviewing the practice of science and the Scientific Method in class. Over the last couple of days we have worked on identifying variables (independent, dependent and controlled).  We decided to change the shape of airplane wings on our paper models and see how the flight distance is affected. 

What a Great Start!

We are almost finished with week 1 already, I cannot believe it!  We have discussed exponential expressions and finding the value when the base number is 10. Today we started a review of multiplication strategies to get us back into mathematical thinking.  I am so excited for our group this year, we are starting off so well and I know we will have so much fun!
