Surface Area vs. Volume, Computer time and Human Body

We had time to explore the difference between surface area and volume using blocks and boxes.  We used the computer to introduce Reflex Math (and some students are getting on daily to practice).  Then we made a flip book to study our human body systems.  We have had a very busy week!

How cool Raha!  Some little girl will now have pride, self-esteem and most importantly smile!  Raha donated her beautiful hair to the Locks of Love organization!  What a great kid!

Another Great Week With the Apes!

We are working with geometric shapes both 2D and 3D, solving area and naming shapes.  In Science we have been exploring balanced and unbalanced forces!

Congrats to Izzi and Tessa for earning this week's Star Student title.  Keep up the good work.  Nate, we will miss you!  Keep up with us one the blog, you will always be an "Ape"!

What a fun week!

We had so much fun!  We studied forces and motion, we had our Science Fair, enjoyed our Boosterthon Fun Run and even said goodbye to an Ape!  We will miss you Nate!  Good luck and keep up all of your hard work!
